As students spend maximum time in the classroom, we at KS Convent strive to make them the best. Our classrooms are comfortable, with well-designed seating arrangements and proper ventilation to create a positive and productive learning environment.
Technology
KS Convent adheres to offer all the essential and latest facilities in every classroom. Technology is a necessary aspect of modern classrooms. Therefore, all our classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, projectors, and computers to enhance the learning experience.
Storage
As there is a lot of stuff belonging to the students in the classroom, Adequate storage space, such as shelves, cabinets, and drawers, is provided for students to keep their books and supplies organized. This keeps their belongings safe and organized and is beneficial both for students and respective teachers.
Lighting
As one of the best schools in Kurukshetra, we pay strong attention to making the environment of classrooms adaptable for the students. For this, our classrooms have good lighting, combining natural and artificial light to create a bright and well-lit environment.
Cleanliness and Hygiene
At KS Convent, we believe that cleanliness and hygiene should be a top priority in classrooms to ensure students’ health and well-being. All our classrooms are sanitized on a daily basis, and we pay strong attention to all hygiene practices.
Classroom Management
At KS Convent, our classrooms should be designed to promote effective classroom management, with features such as bulletin boards, clocks, and calendars to help keep students organized.
All classrooms, Offices, teacher’s rooms, and Principal Room are duly furnished.
The premises are maintained in such condition as to provide reasonable assurance of the occupant’s health, safety, and welfare. Sufficient space is provided to avoid overcrowding and maintain good hygiene standards. Curtains on windows are provided to shield the sunshine in summer.
Electricity is provided for complete lighting in each part of the school. A generator is also installed to overcome the load shedding by Electric Dept. A new water Cooler has been installed to give students cold water in summer through the aqua guard. A microwave oven and Refrigerator have been provided in the Staff Room for the convenience of Staff
Separate washrooms/Toilets for Girls, boys, and Staff are provided on each building floor.
The school has a fire extinguisher system in all parts of the building.
In the rural area, special emphasis on English conversation and individual attention is given to all the students. RO is installed for drinking water
The school has experienced, qualified and dedicated faculty to teach them with the latest teaching aids and well-planned curriculum
Facilities like Physical Education, Music and Dance, etc have been provided in the school.
CLASSIFICATION OF BUILDING AREA
INSTRUCTIONAL AREA Class Rooms of Adequate size, Computer labs, Library and Auditorium for Functions and Seminars.
ADMINISTRATIVE AREA Comprises of Principal’s Room, Administrative Office, Visitors Lounge, Staff Room, , Stores, and Confidential Room for Examination papers.
NUMBER OF ROOMS The school has big specious, airy 26 rooms. Special Emphasis is given to the cleanliness and Hygiene of the Environment.
LIBRARY The school library has books in all management and Social Sciences area. Journals/Periodicals and Newspapers are also available in Library. The School Libraries (Infant, Junior and Senior) are open to all the students of the School. All classes from Class I onwards are provided with at least one library period per week. Students must keep the following in mind while using the library:
- Students should not bring their personal books and reading material to the library.
- Identity Card is essential for issuing books.
- Identity Card is not transferable.
- Silence must be maintained in the library.
- Books lost/damaged/disfigured will have to be paid for or replaced by the borrower within a fortnight.
- The books borrowed must be returned by the due date mentioned in the book, irrespective of whether the student has a designated library period on the said date.

- Students must carry almanac and library notebook to the library in their library period.
- Any child found damaging or defacing a library book would be debarred from using the library for the rest of the academic session.
- Students should not take books out of the library without the permission of the librarian.
- A fine of Rs.3 per day per book will be charged as late fine for the overdue book.
- In case a student is on long leave, library books should be sent to the librarian by parents/guardian. Late fine would be applicable in case of delay of return of books.
